Simon Desbiens

P. Eng., CEA, CHSMSA

Simon Desbiens has 15 years of experience in project management, including the implementation of prevention plans, health and safety and hazardous materials audits, and construction site management. He has also implemented several management systems. He has led and participated in nearly two hundred management system and legal compliance audits in various business sectors.

 

He also supports our customers in the implementation and support of management systems for the environment (ISO 14001), quality (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 17025), health and safety (ISO 45001), food safety (HACCP) and responsible aluminum procurement (ASI). He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a certificate in environmental auditing and principles of environmental law. He is a qualified auditor for the Registrar of the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec (BNQ) and DNV-GL. He is also a Vérificateur Environnemental Agréé (VEA) of the Association Québécoise de Vérification Environnementale, a Certified Health & Safety Management Safety Auditor (CHSMSA) of the AAC and a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.

Charles Desbiens

P.Eng.

Charles Desbiens has 10 years of experience in chemical process engineering. He has extensive experience in process development, operational safety design and process simulation.

 

For the last 5 years, he has been involved in numerous health and safety and environmental compliance audits, management systems internal audits and legal register preparation in different canadian provinces and industries such as construction, mining, pulp and paper, petrochemical, energy, manufacturing, public and parapublic. He uses his strong sense of innovation, his independence and his global vision of systems and organizations to translate his ideas into action plans. He supports our clients in the implementation and support of environmental (ISO 14001), quality (ISO 9001) and health and safety (ISO 45001) management systems. He also provides engineering support such as process design & modelling, mass & energy balances and process hazard and operability studies (HAZOP). He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

Steve Drolet

P. Eng. f., MGP

Steve Drolet has more than 26 years of experience as a forest engineer specializing in the development and support of environmental management systems (ISO 14001), forestry (FSC, SFI, PEFC, chain of custody), responsible supply chain for aluminum (ASI) and quality (ISO 9001). Trained as an external auditor, he has several hundred audits to his credit, all in terms of legal compliance and general verification of management systems in forests, industries and multi-site environments.

 

He is lead auditor for environmental, quality and health and safety audits for various registrars. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in forest management and environment, Steve holds a master’s degree in project management and doctoral studies related to performance.

Veronique Collette

B.Ed. in Counseling and M.A. Industrial relations

Véronique participates in maintaining and improving health and safety management systems and prevention programs for our clients and offers them technical support when needed. She implements and develops different procedures and processes. Her duties lead her to work on coordinating various prevention and training activities. Véronique also participates in audits of environmental management systems (ISO 14001), occupational health and safety (ISO 45001), in several sectors of activity such as energy, aluminum and manufacturing industry.

 

She has experience in ergonomics and psychosocial risks. he has a bachelor’s degree in orientation and will soon complete her master’s degree in industrial relations, health, safety and ergonomics profile.

Myriam Blais

EHS Management System Consultant

Myriam has nearly 14 years of experience in the fields of environment and occupational health and safety (ESS), during which she was able to contribute to different ESS management systems and carry out audits in the field. She implemented prevention programs and put in place several emergency measures plans and respiratory protection programs. In addition, she carried out several atmospheric emissions campaign monitoring and ensured their compliance with the MDDELCC. In addition, over the years, she has developed expertise in industrial hygiene and measuring equipment. She participates in audits of environmental management systems (ISO 14001), occupational health and safety (ISO 45001) and forestry chain of custody (FSC/SFI).

 

She is accredited in the BCIT Health and Safety Workplaces program and has a Site Safety Officer certification from the British Columbia Safety Council. She also holds a Level 2 Mine Health and Safety Act Supervisor certificate in Nunavu

Camille Simon

M.Sc., Management System Counselor

Camille participates in the consolidation of management systems for our clients as well as in carrying out compliance audits for the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems. He accompanies our clients and offers them technical support when required. He implements various tools (procedures and processes), deploys management systems and conducts training sessions on auditing standards and techniques. He previously worked on the coordination of various prevention and training activities. He was at the heart of starting a business in consulting, industrial hygiene and management of air contaminants. His experience has enabled him to acquire solid knowledge of chemical risk management, air contaminants and construction sites. He has an engineering degree in chemistry in France, with a specialization in management of QSE management systems.

Franck Parrot

Biologist, CHSMSA, CEA, Founder

Franck Parrot has over 35 years of experience in environmental, quality, health and safety management. He has implemented a number of environmental, health and safety (EHS) management systems and programs, resulting in strong EHS performance.

 

He has carried out over 150 EHS audits and verifications for major corporations. He is a Certified Health and Safety Management Systems Auditor (CHSMSA) recognized by the Canadian Auditing Association, and a Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA) of the Association québécoise de vérification environnementale. He is lead auditor for the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) and DNV-GL registries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, a master’s degree in environmental engineering and a master’s degree in project management.

 

Franck Parrot is now retired from the day-to-day running of the company, but remains a mentor to the current associates.

Yves Desbiens

Yves Desbiens has over 40 years’ experience in quality management (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), health and safety (CSA-Z1000, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001), sustainable development (ISO 21000; ISO 26000), sustainable forest management (FSC, CSA, SFI, PEFC), food safety (ISO 22001, HACCP, SQF 2000), testing laboratories (ISO17025), information technology security (ISO 27001, ISO 17099), anti-terrorist security (CT-PAT), Ecologo certification, chain of custody and other technical certifications such as product certification within various companies. He has successfully assisted many different companies and organizations in achieving their certification objectives, most of which are large-scale. He is a Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA) and a Certified Environmental Assessor (CEA) recognized by the Canadian Environmental Auditing Association. He is also a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and certificates in biochemistry and law. He was the 4th environmental auditor in Canada in 1997 (CAEV), and has conducted and /supervised numerous audits.

 

He was responsible for the following achievements:

 

  • First ISO 14001 certification in Quebec (Stablex Canada – 1996)
  • First multi-site certification in Quebec (Hydro-Québec – 2000)
  • First CSA-Z809 certification in Quebec (Abitibi-Bowater – 2003)
  • Specialist and expert in the implementation of management systems leading to forest certification for 8,019,670 hectares in Quebec.
